Cancellation Policy

Every artist must agree to these terms prior to initial deposit and checkout. . Section 1: Independent Contractor & Licensee Status 1.1. No Employment Relationship: The Artist operates strictly as an independent business entity / sole proprietor leasing a private studio license. Apex Tattoo Collective is not an employer, partner, or broker of the Artist’s tattoo services. 1.2. Revenue Retention: The Artist retains 100% of all client billing, deposits, retail sales, and gratuities. . Section 2: Financial Terms & Automated Billing 2.1. Weekly Subscription: Suite dues ($400.00 / $450.00 USD) are billed weekly on an automated recurring draft via the payment method on file. 2.2. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit equal to two weeks’ rent is held on file to cover potential property damage, biohazard violations, or default. 2.3. Grace Period & Late Dues: Recurring drafts failing on the due date are subject to an immediate $50 administrative fee. Access credentials will be automatically suspended if an account remains unpaid past 72 hours. . Section 3: Compliance, Licensing & Health Regulations 3.1. County Body Art Compliance: The Artist must possess a current, valid County Body Art Practitioner Registration and up-to-date Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certification prior to booking their first client. 3.2. Single-Use & Sterilization: All tattoo needles, cartridges, grip covers, rinse cups, and machine barriers must be sterile single-use disposable items. No autoclave or on-site instrument reprocessing is permitted within suites. 3.3. Disposal Protocols: Sharps and solid biohazard waste must be placed exclusively into the designated in-suite wall containers. Discarding contaminated waste into standard garbage cans is grounds for immediate termination of the license. 3.4. Insurance: The Artist must maintain active Professional and General Liability Insurance naming Apex Tattoo Collective as an Additional Insured (minimum $1,000,000 occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate). . Section 4: Space Use & Etiquette 4.1. Guest Policy: To preserve a focused, luxury environment, artists may host a maximum of one (4) client guest at any time. Guests must remain inside the artist's private suite. 4.2. No Subleasing: The Artist may not sublet, re-license, or assign the suite or chair to any other artist, apprentice, or guest tattooer without written approval from Apex management. 4.3. Premises Maintenance: The Artist is responsible for surface disinfection between clients
